Looks like a countryside view but I took these pictures right in the middle of a big boulevard in town: the rails in the background are part of the 'petite ceinture', a dismissed railway that surrounds Paris's center.

I'm in love with this park, it feels like a little oasis hidden between rails and a construction site

under the snow there is a frozen lake 

lots of little animals defy the freezing air

and even in winter there are things going on on the 'potager des familles' (families vegetable garden).
